I never saw this (although apparantly it does explain how K9 came to be with Sarah in The Five Doctors) but it was a kid’s show, wasn’t it? I mean, the titles are terribly cheesy, and I’m not sure I’m ever going to recover from seeing Elizabeth Sladen in leg-warmers!

I’ve never actually seen it, but I have read the novelisation. It’s quite good if you’re nine and undemanding. Best guesses as to what a series would have been like were Sarah Jane and K-9 travelling across the countryside, uncovering satanic cults, Scooby-Doo style. No, it’s not exactly the stuff of compelling TV, is it?
I managed about 15 seconds of the title sequence before running off screaming.
